James Ibori Arrested

He ruled Delta from 1999 to 2007, has also been under investigation by the British police following the discovery of assets in Britain suspected to have been acquired with money stolen during his tenure. He was released from Her Majesty’s Prison in Bedford, outside London on January 22nd, 2016 but was immediately arrested again to face other charges and his case may come up in May, 2016.

Before he was re-arrested, the 57 years old University of Benin graduate spent time at Long Lartin Prison in Worcestershire before he was transferred to Her Majesty’s Prison in Bedford, London.
