Mr. Josiah Johnson, 42 years old man has beaten his wife to death over sex. Mrs. Julianah Johnson was said to have refused her husband’s demand for sex on grounds that she did not want to get pregnant again after having seven children for him. The offence was committed on Sunday, July 3 at Erio Ekiti community in Ekiti West Local Government Area.

Police Prosecutor Sgt. Oriyomi Akinwale told the court that Josiah Johnson pounced on his late wife and give her a brutal beating and went ahead to forcefully have sexual intercourse with her until she gave up the ghost in the course of the act. The Ado-Ekiti Magistrate’s Court has therefore remanded Mr. Josiah Johnson in prison.
