Mrs. Florence Seriki, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Omatek Ventures Plc, indigenous manufacturers of Computers and other Information and Communications Technology devices is dead. We gathered from the family source that she died of cancer of the pancreas in the morning of Sunday, 5th March, 2017.
Family source further revealed that: “The cancer of the pancreas was noticed not too long ago. Before we knew it, it became severe and that was it. My pain is that she died too young as she was just 54 years’ old, having been born in 1963.”
It is interesting to know that, Mrs. Florence Seriki was a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, Nigerian Computers Society and the Institute of Directors. She held a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).
