Hon. Leo Ogor Hails Ogidi’s Emergence As PDP National Vice Chairman

Leo OgorMinority Leader of the House of Representatives and Member Representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor has hailed the election of Bro. Emmanuel Ogidi as National Vice Chairman, South-South of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Ogor who spoke to newsmen over the weekend in Port Harcourt shortly after Ogidi was announced as winner of the election at a well attended Zonal congress of the party, said the choice of Emmanuel Ogidi is a plus for the party because he possessed requisite skills to lead the party having served as Chairman of the party in Delta State.

The Federal lawmaker described Ogidi as a political colossus whose contribution to the party is legendary and worthy of commendation.

“Your election no doubt would further boost the fortunes of our party in Isoko, Delta State and Nigeria in general.

“On behalf of my family and the people of Isoko Federal Constituency, I congratulate Bro. Emmanuel Ogidi, a distinguished constituent on his election as National Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.”

He described Bro Emmanuel Ogidi as a worthy son of Isoko and indeed Delta State, pointing out that the ecstasy with which the announcement of his election was received, was a clear sign of his general acceptance at the grassroots.

He thanked Governors of the South-South especially Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and other stakeholders for their support in ensuring Ogidi’s emergence.
