Governor Okowa In Big Trouble

Gov. Ifeanyi-OkowaThese are not the best of times for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State as he has been accused of supporting his aide involved in pipeline vandalization in the state. Those making this grave accusation said they have solid evidence against the governor.

They said that the Special Assistant on Youth and Community Development to the Governor, Mr. Monday Owhesiri was arrested with two others for the recent vandalisation of oil pipelines of Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NNPC) in Ighureneme Community by soldiers of 222 Battalion, Agbarha-Otor.

However, they claimed that the governor allegedly pressed buttons for his aide to be freed and he was released days ago by the operatives of Joint Task Force who now explained that the governor’s aide was framed up.

That’s not all; they added that two other suspects, Daniel Onyeka and Emmanuel Joseph who were arrested with the governor’s aide confessed it was the governor’s aide that was behind the oil pipeline vandalisation.
