Gov. Otti, Arunma Oteh Meet, Discuss Progress On Rebuilding Abia

Former Director General of Nigeria’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Ms Arunma Oteh, has expressed happiness at the pace of development in Abia since the assumption of office by the State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR.

Ms Oteh, who is on the faculty of the Said Business School, Oxford University, England, had a private meeting with Dr. Otti in Abuja, on Friday, and both economists shared thoughts on the progress being made at rebuilding Abia.

“I just had an excellent meeting with my Sister, Ada Eji Eje Mba, Arunma Oteh. As usual, AEEM was erudite and brilliant.”

“We shared perspectives on rebuilding Abia, in the areas of infrastructure, health care, education and welfare of the people,” Dr. Otti disclosed on his Twitter handle Friday night.”

According to the Governor, Ms Oteh expressed happiness about the commencement of the payment of salaries and pensions and the rehabilitation of roads in Aba and Umuahia by the new government.

“She was appreciative of the breathe of fresh air in Abia. Ms. Oteh who is on the faculty of the Said Business School, Oxford University, offered to periodically make herself available to review our activities with a view to adding value to the government.”

“It was a great pleasure spending quality time with her,” Governor Otti declared.
