Gov. Elechi In N16.5Billion Mess

Martins-ElechiThe Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Nwazunku has accused Gov. Martin Elechi of mismanaging a N16.5billion bond taken by the state for major capital projects such as; the International Market, the State Secretariat and Oforekpe Water Scheme.
The speaker has gone further in sending a petition to President Goodluck Jonathan to withhold the approval of a second bond of N15billion. The speaker revealed to the president that the governor diverted the first bond of N16.5billion and the projects the money was meant for are uncompleted and will not be completed before May 29th 2015 when the incumbent governor will be leaving office.
Rt. Hon. Nwazunku also squealed to the president that when the State House of Assembly requested for proper briefing from the governor on how he spent the initial bond of N16.5billion he unleashed hell and thunder on the leadership of the House and the relevant committee of the House is yet to be briefed by the governor of how he spent the first bond and now he wants the House to approve the second bond of N15billion.
