Gov Amosun’s Camp Jittery As Labour Party Waxes Stronger In Ogun

Ibikunle-Amosun-Governor-Ogun-StateNo doubt, the political terrain across the country is already charged with various activities of political parties ahead of 2015 polls.

Labour Party, a relatively new party in Ogun State which seems to have taken the bull by the horns is no doubt causing sleepless nights for others and giving the ruling APC a run for their money.

The party led by former Governor Gbenga Daniel, is indeed not only gaining popularity by the day but also swelling her ranks with notable politicians who are opposed to the alleged anti-masses policies of the government of the day.

The political party which had since embarked on Local Governments tour/summit across the State had visited over 10 local government areas sensitizing masses on electoral procedures and manifestoes of the party.

At the turn of Ijebu North East Local Government recently, the promoter of the party, Otunba Gbenga Daniel while addressing the mammoth crowd at the summit informed the party supporters of a robust welfare package for the masses if the party takes over power come 2015.

While reiterating that the door of the party is still open for groups and individuals interested in joining force with the moving train of the party, OGD insisted the incumbent Government lacks direction and futuristic plans to take the State and its people to higher realm.

Meanwhile, the ruling party in the State APC, that is going through crises seems to have started running helter skelter to salvage the party ahead of 2015 elections.
