Governor of Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun has pledged the support of his administration to movie makers that his government would do everything within its power to help the movie makers in the state.
Movie makers under the aegis of Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria, TAMPPAN, had invited the governor to chair its first general meeting which was held at Cultural centre, Abeokuta and the governor was ably represented by the commissioner of Culture and Tourism, Mrs. Amusan.
In his speech, the president of the association, Dele Odule, on behalf of the association sent words of appreciation and good will message to the governor. On another note, Odule urged members to help move the association forward as well as the entire movie industry by being professional in their works and of good conducts.
He also admonished the producers not to relegate the veterans to the background as they still have so much to offer to the movie world and the society at large.
