Star profiling takes a new dimension this week as three skilled disc jockeys who are wizards on the turntable will  be hosted on African Voices, a magazine programme of the Cable News Network (CNN) sponsored by digital transformation company, Globacom.

They include DJ Dollar, a Senegalese; Amine K from Morocco, and DJ Avneesh from Mauritius. 

DJ Dollar specializes in bringing excitement to upscale events across Africa. His longstanding career as a professional music producer and mixer gives him access to the latest trends in music productions and performances.

The celebrated Halifax entertainer and producer, who has been creating indelible beats for years, is renowned for  serenading his admirers with beautiful mix of lyricsand blasting international airwaves with his electronic hits.

Similarly, Morocco-based DJ Amine K has gained international acclaim for giving his fans nights filled with dancing and good house music. He remains Morocco’s ambassador of music who has played for audiences at electronic music festivals around the world. He asserts that his music ethic belongs to the underground, with his focus on quality dance floor experiences.

He has traversed and infused fun into music festivals across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia, sharing the limelight with other notable disc jockeys including Mandy, Nick Warren, Lee Burridge and Gui Boratto.  

The third guest on the show, DJ Avneesh from the Indian Ocean Island of Mauritius, has experienced many career highlights, including a performance on the Great Wall of China.

African Voices comes on air on the CNN channel on DSTV from Friday from 9.30 a.m.  with repeats on Saturday at 12.30 a.m., 4.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. Other repeat broadcasts come up on Sunday at 5.00 a.m., 9.30 a.m. and 8.30 p.m. with more repeats on Monday and Tuesday at 5.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. respectively.
