Popular actress cum politician, Funke Akindele a.k.a Jenifa has revealed to everyone that cares to listen why she ran away from Twitter.

This is after her fan with the Twitter handle @apexproperties2 wrote on the platform:

“Madam Funke, I sight you. Longest time, you ran away from us or what happened?”

Funke in her response, wrote:

“Dem too dey insult people on this app, so I stay off.”

Similarly, another Twitter user @Odun_is_my_name questioned the actress and wrote:

“Are you afraid of people?”

In the same vein, Funke replied:

“No I’m not afraid. I’m just careful.”

It is interesting to know that Funke Akindele, after the governorship election in Lagos State deleted all her campaign and political related posts on her social media accounts.

For those who don’t know, Funke Akindele was the running mate to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Lagos State, Jandor (Abdulazeez Adediran) and they lost to the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate and incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
