Femi Adeniran Gets New Job

Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State has appointed Femi Adeniran as the Chief Executive Officer of Osun Investment Promotions Agency (OSIPA).

Femi confirmed his new appointment via the social media.

He wrote; “Prosperity of Osun and its people is a critical area and focal point of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s Administration.”

“Yesterday, H.E Governor Adegboyega Oyetola formally handed me the assignment to lead the newly created Osun Investment Promotions Agency.”

“OSIPA, being a new vehicle, speaks to Mr. Governor’s determination to ensure Osun takes its rightful place among the comity of states in Nigeria and to be a hub and template for economic development which will significantly impact the value chain across all sectors of the economy, with Agriculture and Mining(Solid Minerals) being the pivot for a robust, multi-year post-pandemic economic recovery plan.”

“I am honoured and grateful to His Excellency, Governor Oyetola for appointing me to drive the development and investment promotion agenda of the state and I call on partners, colleagues and friends in the private sector and other persons willing to do business to see Osun as a willing partner, open for business.”

“Our energy will be focused on engendering mutually rewarding partnerships and developing an investment climate that is beneficial to Osun, its people and investors.”

“As Mr. Governor has always said, we intend to harness our competitive advantage backed by the fact that Osun is one of the safest states in Nigeria for business with the foundation of our policies and programs hinged on trust and all protocols that support the ease of doing business.”

Before now, he was Head PR, Advocacy & Stakeholder Engagement at Airtel Nigeria; Group Head, Brand and Marketing Communications at WemaBank. He also worked with Guaranty Trust Bank.

He is a Lagos Business School Alumnus and had his early education at Maryland Convent Private School Lagos and Secondary education at Federal Government College Ogbomosho.

He holds a Diploma and B.Sc in Accounting and post-graduate certification in Sales and Marketing from the Humber College Toronto.

He is presently enrolled in the global leadership MBA programme of the Sandermoen Business School, University of Fredericton Canada and also possesses certifications from Harvard University.

He is a member of the ICT policy committee of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, a Fellow of the Institute of Brand Management, an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and a certified Project Management Professional.
