Afrobeats legend, late Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s daughter, Motunrayo Kuti has lambasted Wizkid for saying he is bigger than Fela.

Motunrayo said: “Wizkid, you said you are bigger than Fela, right? Wizkid, you are also bigger than your useless father, who abandoned you and your mum, who is now late.”

“Since you said you are bigger than our own father, you are also bigger than your father, Muniru Olatunji Balogun. And our father is definitely bigger than your father and mother.”

“You that abandoned your baby mamas. Don’t worry, we will all be here when they start to rubbish your own legacy too.”

For those who don’t know, Wizkid made the statement recently via social media post while reacting to Seun Kuti’s allegation that he stole his nickname.

Wizkid said: “I big pass your papa!! Wetin you don do? I’m Big Wiz everyday.”

“Ok everybody better pass Wizkid! Can we all sleep now? Fela fight for freedom, this fool dey fight FC! Oloshi Omo ale!”

Recall that Seun Kuti had during a livestream accused Wizkid of theft. This comes after a Wizkid’s fan told him to change his nickname from “Big Bird” because Wizkid also bears “Biggest Bird”.

Responding to the comment, Kuti said:

“Wizkid stole my name. Tell your fave to be original. Why are you telling me to change my name? Sorry, I can’t change it.”

“This name has been here for a long time. I was the first to come up with it. I am not dragging it with anybody, please.”
