The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after securing a court warrant to detain the immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose in order to carry out their investigation has revealed that the former governor has now started confessing.
Sources at the EFCC squealed to us that; “Fayose has surprisingly begun talking and we hope he can open up on all the issues we are putting to him relating to the ONSA cash of N1.3 billion and the issue of alleged kickbacks from contractors.”
It is noteworthy that ex-Governor Ayodele Fayose is being interrogated by the EFCC on the N1.3 billion he received from the Office of the former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd) some years back.
