Former President Muhammadu Buhari has been taken to the cleaners by ex-Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State.

He said: “Buhari took Nigeria 50 years backward during his eight-year administration as president.”

“Buhari’s bad decisions are responsible for the current hardship in the country.”

“Look at the eight years of President Buhari, what would be left of a country like Nigeria as of today even if Tinubu means well? Where do we place the debts?”

“A lady who was a former minister of finance said very expressly that we service Nigeria’s debt with 83 per cent of our income.”

“Considering what Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President of Nigeria inherited and our diversity, put all these together, the gentleman is trying.”
