The politician has confessed to Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) operatives that he paid N270million cash for a mansion situated at No. 60, Plot 1098, Kwame Nkrumah Street, Cadestral Zone A04, Asokoro, Abuja. Insiders at EFCC told us that the politician initially denied ownership of the house claiming he was just a tenant but when he was confronted by intelligence report, he owed up and started speaking in tongues.

We gathered one Mr. Abu Sule, CEO of Tweeney Consociates had earlier confessed to EFCC that the politician gave him 2.2 million dollars cash to buy the house for him while he was governor of Imo State and he bought the property from Alhaji Isa Maiabino for the former governor.
