Emir of Tsafe, Yan’ doton Tsafe, Alhaji Habibu Aliyu of Zamfara State is dead. Zamfara State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs, Alhaji Muttaka Rini said that the monarch passed away at the Usman Danfodio University Teaching hospital Sokoto after a protracted illness.
He is survived by four wives 25 children and 62 grand children. The late Emir succeeded his father, late Alhaji Aliyu Yan doto in 1991. He was buried in the palace at his hometown of Tsafe at 2pm on 26th July, 2017.
