Billionaire businessman, E-Money (Emeka Okonkwo) has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged currency abuse.

EFCC’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale disclosed this on Tuesday, April 29th, 2025.

He said: “The report is true, he was arrested last night.”

Sources squealed to us that E-Money was arrested at his residence in the Omole area of Lagos on Monday night after an event where he was allegedly caught spraying US dollars.

EFCC sources told us that investigations are already ongoing and that E-Money will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
