Delta PDP Guber Candidate, Oborevwori In Fresh Trouble

Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate and Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori is in fresh trouble.

He has been arraigned before Justice F. A. Olubanjo of the Federal High Court, Asaba over a case of alleged certificate forgery and age falsification.

The suit was filed against him by a former governorship aspirant, Chief Novwie Ikie.

Oborevwori, who stood in the witness box for cross examination, testified that he was the original owner of the WAEC certificate alleged to have been forged.

Oborevwori told the court that he was born in 1963 as against the 1979.

He testified that in an effort to correct the erroneous date of birth in his WAEC certificate, he swore to an affidavit and deed poll to correct the date.
