Pastor William Kumuyi’s led Deeper Christian Life Ministry has dragged Celestial Church of Christ to court. We gathered that the churches have been at war over a landed property at Mulero Area of Agege, Lagos.

We were told that the Celestial Church of Christ defeated Deeper Life at a Lagos High Court where Justice Candide-Johnson declared on January 17, 2014 that the land belongs to Celestial Church and awarded N5 million damages against Deeper Life.

Not satisfied with the judgment, Deeper Life went to Lagos Appeal Court where Justice Abimbola Obaseki-Adejumo also upheld the judgment of the high court and dismissed the appeal of Deeper Life.
