Senator Danjuma Goje, former governor of Gombe State is in big trouble as a Federal High Court in Jos, Plateau State, has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the politician for refusing to show up in court.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) revealed that the former governor who is being charged with an alleged N25 billion fraud, might be arrested on Wednesday, 5th October, 2016.
The EFCC has issued a statement to that effect… “A Federal High Court, sitting in Jos, Plateau State, on October 4, 2016 (Tuesday) issued a bench warrant against former Governor of Gombe State, Danjuma Goje, for refusing to show up in court. The warrant is however to take effect by 8am on October 5, 2016, if he fails to show up in court again.”
