One of Nigeria’s female politicians and society matriarchs, Senator Daisy Ehanire Danjuma is in a joyous mood at the moment. Her son, Yuki Omenai has made her a grandmother for the first time. We learnt that, Danjuma’s daughter-in-law, Moriam Omobolanle (née Rotimi) was delivered of a baby boy recently. Since the baby’s arrival, the new grandmother has become over joyous. And her joy is being shared by her husband, General Theophilus Danjuma as well as some of her close friends, notably, Priscilla Soyemi, Sena Anthony, Nike Makinde, Funmi Goka and many others.

It will be recalled that, in September 2013 and May 2014, Yuki and Moriam got married in Lagos and Marbella, Spain respectively, at elaborate ceremonies, which were graced by many prominent personalities. Yuki is the product of Danjuma’s previous marriage to Henry Omenai, the former Shell Oil top shot.
