Information reaching us presently has it that legal representatives of Anita, the former wife of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the founder of Believers’ LoveWorld Incorporated a.k.a Christ Embassy, revealed that their client, Anita had finally concluded on her divorce to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. Furthermore, we were told that Anita affirmed that she was no longer a part of the church, Believers LoveWorld Inc.

According to a statement by her lawyers; Attwaters Jameson Hill Solicitors in United Kingdom:

“We have been requested by Anita Oyakhilome to confirm that on the 8th February 2016 a decree absolute was pronounced in the High Court of Justice Principal Registry of the Family Division dissolving her marriage to Christian Onehirokpeana Oyakhilome.

Anita Oyakhilome would like to confirm that she is no longer involved in or part of Christ Embassy AKA Believers LoveWorld INC.”

You will recall that Anita Ebhodaghe who was formerly addressed as Pastor (Mrs.) Anita Oyakhilome was a founding member of Christ Embassy where she rose to the position of a pastor and finally got married to the estranged husband in 1991, a marriage that produced two lovely daughters.

Also, you will remember that Pastor Anita filed for divorce from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome in April 2014 at Divorce Section A, Central Family Court, First Avenue House, High Holborn, London, United Kingdom in Suit No. FD14D01650. Her lawyers; Attwaters Jameson Hill Solicitors did that for her and she cited “Unreasonable behaviour” as the reason for filing for divorce.
