The death has occurred of Nneoma Mrs. Grace Obiukwu of Akwuorji community, Ezeogwu, Okwuamaihe, Awo Idemili in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo state.
Age 64, the late Mrs. Obiukwu died on the 14th of June, 2020. During her lifetime, she was a successful cement & iron rods dealer at Orlu.
A devout Catholic, Mrs. Obiukwu was conferred with Ezinna and Nneoma titles in recognition of her devotion to the things of God.
Her dexterity in the service of God and humanity ensured that she was once the president of the Catholic Women Organisation, CWO in her parish.
Her burial rites will commence on Wednesday, 7th October 2020 with a wake keep at her compound, Ezeogwu Okwuamaihe, Awo Idemili.
Thursday, 8th October, her body leaves St. Damian mortuary, Okporo, for her compound for lying in state. Time is 7am.
Thereafter, a Requiem mass will be held in her honour at St.Patrick’s catholic church, Ezeogwu at 10 am. Interment follows immediately at her compound.
Among those left to mourn her are her husband, Mr. Pius Nnaoma Obiukwu, children; Mrs. Uchenna Oguekusi, Mr. Nnamdi Obiukwu, Mr. Uzoma Obiukwu, Mrs. Nneka Chidozie, etc and many in-laws including Chief Chima Oguekusi (Nwakaibeya 1 of Ezimba- Ogberuru), a Dubai based businessman.
