Senator Buruji Kashamu has declared war on Kessington Adebutu a.k.a Baba Ijebu.

The former lawmaker has sent a petition to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) about Adebutu’s company, Premier Lotto.

Consequently, Premier Lotto is now being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Kessington Adebutu’s son, Segun has been detained by the EFCC.

The son is being questioned by the EFCC on matters ranging from alleged tax fraud to economic sabotage amounting to N5billion.

Be that as it may, Kashamu has explained why he petitioned the anti-graft agency.

He said; “All the taxpayers’ billions they diverted should have been paid into the lottery commission trust fund to build infrastructure and alleviate poverty amongst the Nigerian masses.”

“I urge Nigerians to continue to pressure the EFCC to investigate and charge all those responsible for sabotaging the country’s economy without any pity for the masses.”

Insiders told us that Kashamu who owns Western Lotto has issues against Kessington Adebutu, his major competitor in the lotto business.

Sources said; “What we learnt is that Buruji Kashamu said he has sole rights to ‘Ghana Games’ in Nigeria. But he should not burn down the entire industry to implement his business interests.”
