Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt.-Gen Tukur Buratai’s father, Alhaji Yusuf Buratai is dead.

The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. Sani Kukasheka confirmed the demise of the Chief of Army Staff’s father in a statement issued on Friday, February 9th, 2018  in Maiduguri.

The statement reads… “This is to inform you of the passing away of the father of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Alhaji Yusuf Buratai, this morning (Friday) in Maiduguri”.
