Elderstatesman and PDP chieftain, Chief Bode George is now battling his fellow party member, Mr. Segun Adewale (Aeroland) and both parties had a bloody fight recently.
The bloody war took place at the Lagos State PDP Secretariat when both leaders’ supporters clashed, guns and other dangerous weapons were unleashed in the battle. However, Bode George is blaming Segun Adewale for the violence: “How can you lead thugs to the secretariat and be shooting innocent people? Adewale is not serious and he is operating illegally as the party’s chairman. He is being sponsored by Modu Sheriff. Does he think that Lagos is Ado Ekiti where he can behave like a criminal? The police have taken over the matter and they are investigating him already. Adewale should note that those supporting Sheriff are gradually regretting their actions.”
Be that as it may, Segun Adewale is holding Bode George responsible for the mayhem: “Sequel to our notification that a general assembly would hold on July 13, 2016, what was supposed to be a peaceful gathering by the members of the Lagos State chapter of the PDP was hijacked by hoodlums led by one Chief Kuye, who is loyal to Chief Bode George. Our members, who met the gates of the state secretariat locked, had to insist that it should be opened. Officials of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps succumbed to the pressure from the already angered members.”
“Unknown to them, other members of the party had positioned themselves with guns and other weapons within the premises of the state secretariat to attack the unsuspecting and unarmed members, who were all elated to have access into the party secretariat after being deprived for several months. The attack left several of our leaders and members of the party injured and many are currently receiving treatment.”
