Popular musician cum actor, Bob Ejike has taken Igbo people to the cleaners.

He said; “The Yoruba are culturally more advanced in recording and performance art because it is part of their tradition, coupled with their rich elaborate and colourful parties that lavishly employ their artists and instantly reward them through generous spraying, which gives them leverage over their competitors.”

“Being an Igbo artist is a colossal tragedy because the Igbo person who is often a trader has a suspicious and stingy disposition and very little respect for artists whom he sees as deviants and layabouts. I have been on the receiving side of this apathy most of my life and much of the success I enjoyed was owed to Yoruba patronage.”

“Do you know where I would have been after 50 years of showbiz if I were Yoruba? Please start keeping your house in order and never ever open your mouth to insult Yorubas over control of the music industry.”

“They invested in it because they love it and believe in it while you laugh at them calling them Ndiowambe. Let them control it for our general good.”
