May 25th turned out to be a day of mixed emotions for Lagos based Media strategist, Mr James Atah. The respected biographer  and niche publicist was in the middle of birthday celebrations when news of his mother’s death filtered in.

According to family sources, his mother, Mrs Regina Atah had been locked in a long running battle with an undisclosed ailment. She was seventy one at the time of her death. Mr Atah who currently serves as Head of Corporate Communications at Trend TV, Africa ‘s largest  FTA satellite TV is also the moving force behind the celebrated successes of PR firm Brands R US and Publishing giant TBL books.

Condolences have poured in from every corner of the Nigerian media community including correspondents of International News agencies and literary.
