General Overseer of Winners Chapel (Living Faith Church), Bishop David Oyedepo is now a happy man.

The popular man of God who was initially denied visa by the United States embassy in Lagos has eventually been offered the visa.

Renowned blogger, Obiwest Utchaychukwu disclosed this via his Facebook page.

He wrote; “Bishop David Oyedepo later got US visa after denial. Just a phone call visa was issued.”

For those who don’t know, we gathered that Oyedepo was denied visa because he did not qualify for visa renewal. The Bishop queried the grounds for his refusal.

Sources said that Oyedepo had told the embassy that he had been traveling to the states as far back as the 1980s and had not violated any rules or committed any crime to have warranted being denied a renewal of his visa.

Sources added that the man of God immediately sent for his bodyguards to get his phones so he could make some calls, but the embassy allegedly told him he could not make calls within the precincts of the visa-issuing section of the embassy.
