Ever since her husband, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegu Ojukwu died on November 26, 2011. The widow, Her Excellency, Bianca Ojukwu has been having a running battle with her husband’s family members. Insiders squealed to us that even before the husband was buried, some family members brought thugs to eject her and her children from her matrimonial home on Queens Drive, Ikoyi, Lagos and it was the timely arrival of policemen that saved her.

Our sources added that even Debe Ojukwu who claimed to be the first of the late Ikemba of Nnewi has been calling her unprintable names on the pages of newspapers. We gathered after much harassment that the widow has sued the Ojukwu family to a Lagos High Court before Justice Abdulfatah Lawal and she came to court recently to state her case.

Barrister (Mrs.) Bianca Ojukwu asked the court to stop the Ojukwu family from ejecting her under-aged children; Afamefuna and Nwachukwu Ojukwu from No. 29, Oyinkan Abayomi Street, Ikoyi, Lagos until the harmonization administration of the assets of Ojukwu Transport Limited. She revealed that the Ojukwu family members have threatened to use force to eject her under-aged children from the property.
