Having parted ways with his estranged Deputy, Prince Segun Adesegun, Governor Ibikunle Amosun on Tuesday 16th of December 2014 presented a new running mate ahead of 2015 elections to APC party leaders in Ogun State.
She is Mrs. Yetunde Abosede Onanuga, nee Fabanwo who is the wife of popular socialite and owner of NUGACON, a giant construction company Giwa Bobakeye Okunrin Akile Ijebu, Biodun Onanuga.
She is expected to jointly fly the flag of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming February, 2015 gubernatorial election in the State.
Mrs. Onanuga hails from Aparaki in Ijebu Igbo, Ijebu North Local Government Area of the state in the Ogun East Senatorial district and married to Mr. Giwa Onanuga, from Ijebu- Ode.
She holds a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration from Lagos State Institute of Science and Technology, and a Master Degree in Business Administration from the Ogun State University, Ago Iwoye.
Until her announcement as Governor Amosun’s running mate for next year election, Mrs. Onanuga was a Director of Finance and Administration in Lagos State.
In her remark, Onanuga thanked all for the acceptance and pledge to be faithful, loyal and honest in the discharge of her duty to the state and the party at large.
She also assured that her loyalty to the Governor of Ogun State Senator Ibikunle Amosun would not be in doubt as she will exhibit a high sense of loyalty to the Governor.
Mrs. Onanuga, aged 54 is a Christian.
