The Honourable Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, has reaffirmed her support for Nigeria Fashion Week, scheduled to hold 2–4 October 2026 in Abuja.

The Minister gave the assurance while receiving a delegation from Legendary Gold, organisers of Nigeria Fashion Week, Qualitrend Group, the event’s Government Relations Partner, and members of the organising committee led by Lexy Mojo-Eyes.

The Minister reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to positioning Nigeria’s creative and cultural industries as major drivers of entrepreneurship, economic growth, job creation, exports, and global competitiveness, particularly for women and young people.
Lexy Mojo-Eyes described fashion as a powerful expression of art and cultural identity and an important part of the economic sector that supports tourism, investment, manufacturing, and businesses in the fashion value chain.
