Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has taken a swipe at President Bola Tinubu.

He said: “Tinubu and I are not on good terms because his policies are causing hardship for the citizens.”

“The northern region has been particularly affected by the recent tax reforms proposed by the federal government.”

“The North, unfortunately, heavily relies on federal allocation to survive. The reforms he is proposing will put the region under dire strain.”

“I am calling for a more inclusive approach to governance that prioritizes the needs of all Nigerians, particularly the economically disadvantaged regions.”
