Famous actor, Baba Ijesha has now been granted bail by the court.

Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Ikeja Special Offences Court granted the actor bail in the sum of N2million and two sureties.

The judge on Thursday, June 24th, 2021 ordered that one of the sureties be a blood relative of the actor and the other, a lawyer.

Baba Ijesha was arraigned at a Special Offences and Domestic Violence Court in Ikeja on Thursday.

For those who don’t know, two Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) and 17 other lawyers appeared at the Lagos State Special Offences Court on Thursday in Ikeja to argue the child molestation case against him.

SANs Dada Awosika and Babatunde Ogala appearing before Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo during Thursday’s proceedings while the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecution, Olayinka Adeyemi and four other prosecutors appeared for the state.

Recall that Baba Ijesha was arrested in April for allegedly defiling comedian, Princess’ foster daughter.
