Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has dumped the party stalwart cum Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike.

This is amid the lingering crisis rocking the opposition party.

For those who don’t know, Governor Nyesom Wike and his team have refused to support Atiku Abubakar for the 2023 presidential election over failure of Iyorchia Ayu to resign as the party national chairman.

However, Atiku said: “We are yet to resolve the matter. But we have moved on, I don’t have any worries about that anymore.”

“And at this junction, it’s improper to talk about leadership change in the party while elections are fast approaching.”
