Atiku Blows Hot

Atiku Abubakar, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate has declared that his government would be willing to investigate the military hierarchy…

“We cannot continue to accept that kind of situation whereby commanders lose lives, lose equipment to terrorists and then nothing happens to them. I will be willing to investigate the report of Amnesty International indicting the military on allegations of genocide.”

“There is need for government to invest more in education and health sectors as well as to bring in more private investors to compliment governments programmes in the health sector. If elected, I will send a bill to the National Assembly to prosecute any government at any level that managed education funds.”

“I will accept the result of the presidential election if the election is credible.”

“On the issue of herders/farmers clash, there is need for extensive public sensitisation of these herders to adopt this solution to minimize this crisis. This will not only reduce the crises, as it would also increase their income.”

“On the allegation that I paid less tax, what I paid was my personal income tax, while my companies paid their taxes also to the government. There may be mistake in the privatisation done under my eight years when I was the vice president but the programme was a success.”
