The All Progressives Congress (APC) has lambasted former Governor Aminu Tambuwal, describing him as “politically dead.”

The Chairman of the APC in Sokoto State, Sadiq Achida said:

“Tambuwal has no independent political base, he rose to power through the influence of political godfathers, particularly Senator Aliyu Wamakko. Tambuwal’s political future is bleak.”

“No Abuja alliance, no media propaganda, no recycled coalition can revive a politician whose only legacy is propaganda and a collapsed state.”

“Tambuwal refused to formally hand over to his successor in 2023, to avoid being held accountable for leaving behind a state riddled with incomplete projects.”
