Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State has eventually dumped his anointed candidate, Hon. Adekunle Akinlade who is the governorship candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) in the state like bad habit.

Sources squealed that the governor has directed the immediate removal of all Akinlade’s campaign materials from major streets of the state.

Sources revealed that different groups of workers were sighted recently removing Akinlade’s billboards, signposts, flexes and other campaign materials, replacing them with pictures of President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Amosun.

Rumours are rife that the latest development could be linked to the call Amosun was said to have received from the presidency, asking him to desist from his continued opposition to the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
