Former Governor Alao-Akala of Oyo State is dead.

He died at the age of 71.

For those who don’t know, Akala was a former police officer.

He was a former Governor of Oyo State and a candidate of the ADP in 2019 Governorship election in Oyo State.

He was born on June 3, 1950 at Ogbomoso, Ogbomoso North Local Government Area of Oyo State.
