President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, Aisha Buhari’s Aide has denied the story spreading like wild harmattan fire in town that the First Lady of Nigeria collapsed when she was told of her son’s power bike accident.

The Director of Information to the wife of the President, Suleiman Haruna denied that his boss collapsed or on bed rest at the hospital. The media aide said the report is wicked and Mrs. Buhari was by her son’s bedside like any concerned mother will do and there was nothing wrong with that. He appealed to Nigerians to ignore the report as it is false.

Aisha Buhari was said to be in Adamawa State when the news of her son’s power bike near fatal accident reached her.

Those spreading the story said that she rush back from Adamawa and on getting to Cedacrest Hospital, Abuja, she was prevented from seeing her son because of the severity of the accident. That led her to conclude that her son had died, she collapsed and had to be revived and placed on bed rest.

President Buhari’s only son, Yusuf had a power bike accident on Tuesday night, around Gwarimpa in Abuja and broke his head and one of his limbs.
