Popular Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold has made a shocking revelation.

He said: “When me and my wife met, the first thing we did was to know our genotype that we match.”

“The genotype test is easy test, you do it and then they tell you she’s AA and I’m AS. So you have to do that first.”

“We tell people, if you have sickle cell, forget love, you can’t do it, it makes no sense.”

“Because you’re about to bring a child into the world and about to be sickly, what is the point?”

“There’s no way I would have handled the situation if my wife had sickle cell.”

For those who don’t know, Adekunle Gold married fellow singer, Simi in 2019, and the couple have since welcomed two children together.
