Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, National Chairman of the People Democratic Party got the shock of his life a few days ago at Akwa-Ibom State Governors’ Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja where some PDP governors told him to his face that he was a traitor and he should resign from his position if he has any shame and honour.

Sources at the meeting said the governors did not mince words at all as the governors told him point blank that he worked against the PDP at the just concluded election especially in the northern part of the country where he hails from and where the PDP lost almost all their states to the APC. Those at the meeting said one of the governors told the chairman that he was planning to move to the APC to contest the 2019 presidential election so he wants to destroy the PDP before he goes to the APC. A source said the governors are threatening that if the chairman refuses to resign they won’t attend any meeting called by him because he has brought misfortune and disaster to the PDP.
