Popular Nollywood actress, Tope Osoba is dead.

The actress died on Wednesday after a prolonged battle with breast cancer. She passed away at 40.

Her colleague, Foluke Daramola, announced the sad news in a post shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday.

Osoba first made her health struggle public in 2024 when she appealed for financial assistance following her first breast cancer surgery.

At the time, Daramola disclosed that the actress required a second surgery to remove the remaining cancerous tissue from her breast. The procedure was estimated to cost about ₦12 million.
