Popular Yoruba actress, Orisabunmi, (Mrs. Folake Aremu) is dead. She died at the age of 60.

We gathered that the veteran actress died after a brief illness.

Famous actor, Prince Jide Kosoko confirmed her death on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021.

He said; “Folake’s death is a terrible blow to the Nigerian theatre arts industry, I pray that God will comfort her family members and her loved ones.”

“No doubt, Folake was a thoroughbred actress. She was an amazon in the industry and we respected and valued her for her contribution. She gave her all to her career and she was recognised for her worth.”

Similarly, President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan a.k.a Baba Latin said;

“Orisabunmi died late Tuesday night.”
