Foremost Yoruba actress, Motunrayo Adeoye is dead.

The veteran actress died on Friday June 1st, 2018 after suffering from a protracted chronic ulcer.

The actress remains has been buried same day (Friday) according to the Islamic rites at her residence in Akobo Ojurin, Ibadan, Oyo State.

She broke into limelight via her role in Kunle Afod’s blockbuster, Igbekun. She is a relation to prominent traditional ruler, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alafin of Oyo.

Motunrayo started her career with BCOS Communication, Ibadan in the 70’s as a Studio/Audio Engineer. Immediately after her retirement in 2010, she went fully into acting
