Veteran actress, Funmilayo Ogunsola popularly known as ‘Mama Ijewuru’ is dead.
The popular Yoruba actress died on Monday, February 4th, 2019 of heart attack at her residence in Ibadan, Oyo State.
A family member, Adebisi Ogunsola broke the sad news on Monday via her Facebook page…
“I never thought I’d ever use these pictures to say RIP to you ma but who am I to question you, God? Mother like you is scarce. A very good, prayerful, and friendly mother to all. We (Ogunsola Isho Pepper) are all going to miss you Grandma Ogunsola Funmilayo Iya Ijewuru.”

and grant you eternal rest
For those who don’t know, the deceased was the fourth wife of late Yoruba actor, Ishola Ogunsola a.k.a. ‘I Show Pepper’. Her husband was one of the founding members of Association of National Theatre Arts Practitioners.
