The Access Bank Lagos City Marathon registration will officially begin on Monday, September 3, 2018 for its fourth edition.
According to a statement by Yussuf Alli, General Manager, Lagos Marathon, he said; “The 2019 edition is going to be more community-based. Communities will be encouraged to participate as a team, the start and finishing points for the 2019 races will be the same.”
“We are hoping to have over 100,000 runners again like we did for the 2018 race, the 10km will be starting at the Lekki Bridge and ending at the Eko Atlantic City while the full marathon will be commencing at the National Stadium, Surulere to also end at the Eko Atlantic City.”
“Unlike in the previous editions of the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon in which people could still register two-three days to race day, the fourth edition for 2019 will not be so as registration this time will close on January 11.”
