Kwara State former governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed is in hot soup.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is interrogating him over shady transactions running into billions of naira.

EFCC sources squealed that Abdulfatah arrived at its Ilorin office on Monday morning, February 19th, 2024.

Besides, he was interrogated in May 2021 by a crack team of operatives at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja in connection with the alleged diversion of about N9 billion from the coffers of the Kwara State Government.

The money was allegedly diverted during his tenure as governor of the state.
