Popular Nollwywood actress, Rita Nzelu’s marriage to Simeon Okoro has crashed like an overloaded pack of cards.

Those in the know squeal to us that the 14-years old union came to a halt as a result of rumours of infidelity, between the screen diva and her friend.

For those who don’t know the beautiful screen goddess, joined Nollywood in 1990 where she debuted in the famous “Living in Bondage”, a movie that brought Nollywood into limelight. She became a household name after the blockbuster movie.

Rita Nzelu, who is gifted, creative, skillful and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles has featured in over 100 Nollywood movies amongst which are: “Nneka the Pretty Serpent”, “Long John”, “Odenigbo”, “Ukwa”, “Living in Bondage”, “Baby Mama”, “Unforgiven”, to mention but a few.

She was born and brought up in Enugu State, where she completed her Primary, Secondary and Tertiary education. She is a graduate.

However, she abandoned her flourishing acting career and moved to London with her family.
